A friend of mine was leaving for New Zealand to study English and do an internship. I asked him to become my avatar there. He accepted the idea with interest. Before his departure, I bought a wig, sunglasses, clothes, and other items, and photographed him before and after he put them on. He then left for New Zealand with those items. During his stay, he asked people he met there to photograph his daily life in disguise. He later sent the photographs to me over the internet, via email and a messaging app.
